 Also, people with uncontrolled diabetes may have other problems that slow healing, such as fighting infections and poor circulation. This means that small cuts in the skin can lead to ulcers or serious infections.

 Proper foot care can prevent such problems.

 How to care for feet?

 Foot care is easy. It is best done while taking a bath or getting ready for bed.

 Good foot care also means seeing a doctor early if you find a problem so it doesn't get worse.

 Check your feet every day. Wash them thoroughly and let them dry. Use a hand mirror to examine them. Look for blisters, cuts, crevices, dry skin, redness, tenderness, or upper soles between the toes and sores. Bay
